The Crimson Iron Society (The CIS) was formed in 2006 (it was named on Oct 10, 2006 -- I still have the e-mail) as a guild for the MMO game Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Although we shortly left Vanguard after it was released to seek other games, we remained together as a multi-gaming community and have grown much larger through the years since.

At this point we number 20+ members, depending on how active of a member you want to consider. The games we currently have members playing vary from day to day but we have had a presence in most MMO games over the years.

The CIS is not a raid- or power-centric guild. The majority of us are in our 30s and 40s with families and real lives. We enjoy the laid back company of fellow gamers and do not take anything too seriously. We will ocassionally get together for larger group raids or the like but nothing is mandatory in The CIS.
